Hubert- Wendy Jo Atkins, 52, passed away at Novant Health in Wilmington on April 17, 2026. She was born October 6, 1973, in New Freedom, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Joan Marstellar Bollinger, and her beloved husband, Anthony Atkins.

She is survived by her children, Samantha Dunlap (Mark) of Norfolk, VA, Benjamin Bollinger (Kelly) of Hubert, and Ellie Wall of Hubert; ten grandchildren; and four sisters, Joan of FL, and Judy, Lori, and Connie, all of PA.

Wendy was known for her kindness, compassion, generosity, and strength. She saw light in everyone and everything, bringing joy and humor with her everywhere. Wendy cherished her family deeply. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date with her family and friends.
