William "Bill" Robert Brothers

Hubert- William (Bill) Robert Brothers, 60, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born November 3, 1965, in Leechburg, PA, to the late Clinton Robert and Mae Minnie Nolf Brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro, with Chaplain Patrick Hall officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Bill proudly served his country in the USMC and later continued his service through a long civil service career. He will be remembered for the strong work ethic he developed as a young teen, his dedication to the Swansboro Soccer Association, and his love of Pittsburgh sports teams, fishing, and time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betsy Pathroff Brothers of the home; sons, Nick Brothers (Lauren) of Wilmington and Michael Brothers (Katie) of Swansboro; grandchildren, Jason, Lillian, Benjamin, and Cody; sisters, Crystal, Jeannette, and Sandy of PA; nephew, George Healey (Kelly); and other nieces and nephews of PA.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Healey and Harold Brothers.
