Swansboro/Peletier—William (Bill) Patrick Collins, 69, passed away September 3, 2026, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Born November 28, 1956 in Quantico, Virginia, he was the son of the late William Francis and Mary Ann Diel Collins.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro with Rev. Steve Garner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. He is survived by special friends Corky, Tonya, Mike, Raeford, Byrd, and Devin.

Bill is preceded in death by the love of his life, his loving wife, Brenda. They were faithful members of Silver Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church. Together they owned and operated “Squeaky Clean Cleaning Service” for many years, working side by side. After her death their little dog “Tinkerbell” became Bill’s constant companion. Bill loved the water and spending time with his friends. For years he enjoyed fishing off the neighbor’s dock, especially in the fall. One of his recent proudest moments was when he purchased the boat he always wanted. He traded in the dock fishing for his boat adventures. Many nights he spent playing pool with Mike, his neighbor, which became very competitive between the two. The last four months of his life Bill was so blessed to have special friends who so lovingly and willingly cared for him until the very end. A truly remarkable person, Bill will be forever missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.
