William David Braswell passed away suddenly on Monday, November 4, 2024 at his home in Sneads Ferry, NC. Born at Ft. Bragg, NC on December 13, 1963, Dave loved to talk of his football days as a Heidelberg Lion and his time in the 1st Special Forces Group while stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA. Graveside service will be March 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

He is survived by his children Makenzie Braswell of Durham, NC, his son, David Braswell of Charlotte, NC; his parents, Charles and Karen Braswell of Holly Ridge, NC; his sister, Sandy Sans and her family of Melbourne Beach, FL, as well as his sister, Jennifer Arrington and her family of Huntsville, AL. He also leaves behind many more friends and family, all of whom he cherished.
