JACKSONVILLE - William "Horace" Marshburn, passed away February 20, 2025, at the age of 84. Graveside service will be Monday, February 24, 2025 at Onslow Memorial Park at 1:00 pm with Rev. Phillip Shepard officiating.

He was born March 18, 1942 in Richlands NC to William and Lila Marshburn. Horace is preceded in death by his parents and dear wife Barbara F. Marshburn.

Horace is survived by three sons, William "Marty" Marshburn (Debbie) of Jacksonville NC, William "Mitch" Marshburn (Cathy) of Jacksonville NC, and William "Monty" Marshburn (Shelly) of Jacksonville NC; brother, Larry Marshburn (Joan); two sisters, Margie Bulris (Elsworth) and Judy Weaver (Jimmy); five grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberly, Geoff, Kristie, and Kasey; and nine great grandchildren.
