HUBERT  -  William (Bill) Lynwood Moseley, 80, of Hubert, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Swansboro Civic Center with Rev. Charles McKinney officiating.  Private entombment will be at a later date.

Mr. Moseley was born January 19, 1944 in Kinston, NC.

He served his country in the United States Coast Guard and then began a career as an insurance salesman with Woodmen of the World. After his retirement from insurance sales he started a career in the automobile business as an owner and then with Stevenson Auto Group for 20 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. His greatest joy was being with his family and friends and listening to beach music and Jimmy Buffett while on the boat.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Retha Pate Taylor and his beloved wife, Linda Johnson Moseley.

Survivors include his daughter, Susan Fortner (Trevor) of Homerville, Ga; sons, Aaron Moseley (Catherine Demirdjian) of Emerald Isle and Nathan Moseley (Lairen Ford) of Stella; grandchildren, Ivey Morgan, Madeline Fortner, and Van Moseley; great grandchildren, Luke and Graham Morgan; brother, Ashley Moseley; and his beloved special K-9 companion, Angel.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Civic Center
