SWANSBORO  -  William Troy "Bill" Ormond, Jr, 86, of Swansboro, passed away Wednesday, April 3,2025 at his home. He was born July 13,1938 in Lonoir County, NC a son of the late William Troy Ormond, Sr. and Betty Cox Ormond. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 11:00AM at Seaside Memorial Park with Rev. Travis Moots officiating.

Bill was a sewing machine mechanic and loved to spend time at his church and with his friends and family.

He is survived by his son, Eric Ormond (Barbara) of Swansboro; step-grandchildren, Jennifer and Kyle; and a sister, Betty Jo Joyce of Wilmington.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Jean Nassef Ormond.
