Willie Arvene Smith Cox went to be with the Lord February 12, 2025.

Funeral Service will be February 18, 2025 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville at 12:00 PM. Graveside to follow at Onslow Memorial Park.

She was married to Charles Leroy Cox in Greenville, SC.

Willie Arvene Cox was born June 2, 1934 to Arvin Louis and Willie Mae Smith in Greenville, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arvin and Willie Mae Smith and ex-spouse Charles Leroy Cox.

She is survived by her son Charles Keith Cox and wife Dana of Canton, OH; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Erny and husband Don of Jacksonville, NC; five grandchildren, Christina Warren and husband Robert, Jacob Cox and wife Stephanie, Matthew Cox and wife Colleen, Justin Erny, and Kevin Erny and wife Hailey; five great grandchildren, Matthew Warren, Henry Warren, Sophia Erny, Olivia Erny, and Emersyn Cox.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Willie Arvene Cox will be missed. Rest in Peace.
