February 13, 1947 – December 17, 2024
JACKSONVILLE - On December 17, 2024, Yvonne Fain Euman, 77, entered eternal rest. Born in McArthur, Ohio, to Edison Fain and Sarah Horner, Yvonne graduated from New Lexington High School and soon after married Timothy J. Euman, Sr. As a military spouse she supported Tim and her family as they moved to California and finally to North Carolina. Yvonne called Jacksonville, North Carolina home for the last 52 years.
Through the years Yvonne's interests and activities varied. She was active in the Officers Wives Club at Marine Corps Air Station New River, she bowled in a league and enjoyed playing BINGO. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, researching ancestry, taking candid photos of sunsets, flowers, and watching westerns! Yvonne always had a story to tell and never met a stranger. She was a long-time member of the church choir at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Community on MCAS New River.
Yvonne found much joy in celebrating the success of her three children and four grandchildren. Surviving her are Timothy J. Euman, Jr., wife Dawn, Michael Euman, Stephanie Schnackel, husband Eric and grandchildren, Erica Schnackel, Jacquelyn Porzucek and husband Michael, Jason Euman and Nash Euman.
