Oceanside- Zachary "Zach" Scott Meyer, 29, of Oceanside, California died on January 2, 2022.

Zach was a SSgt in the United States Marine Corps, where he faithfully served for ten years. Zach enjoyed playing pool, bowling, and video games. He always had everyone laughing and was loved by many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Jessica Meyer, of the home; his dog, Nola; his parents, David and Angela Meyer of Columbia, SC; his brothers, Nathan Meyer of Columbia, SC and Chad Meyer of Texas; his niece, Stormy Meyer; his father-in-law, Nathan Felker of O'Fallon, IL; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Evelyn and John Berry of Marysville, NC and several other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC with a graveside with military honors to follow at Onslow Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
