Obituary

SNEEDS FERRY. -  Clarence S. Melton, 91, of Sneads Ferry, died peacefully on May 16, 2022 at his residence. 

He was born on July 23, 1930 in Newport News, Virginia to the late Raymond Melton and Ila Edens Melton. 

He was the oldest brother to Bill, Joe, Alvin, Joyce Makala, Pat Hall, Lloyd and Barbara Ikner.

Mr. Melton was married for 62 years to the love of his life, Bernice (Bunny) Kolodge Melton of MN, who preceded him in death.

He had five children, his sons, David Melton of CA and Steven Melton of NV and is also survived by three daughters, Dianna Melton of NC, Lorraine Winter of ME and Vicky Whitney of UT;  and grandson, Adam Taylor of CO.

A private service will be held at a later date.
