JACKSONVILLE  -  Claudine Mary Yates, 80, of Jacksonville, died Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM on Friday May 27, 2022, at Infant of Prague Catholic Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Ernest Rude officiating.  Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veteran Cemetery with her late husband, Preston Wayne Yates, Sr who passed away, July 5, 1994.

Mrs. Yates was born December 25, 1941, in Chicago, Il to the late William and Clara Allen.  

She is survived by her son, Preston W. Yates, Jr and his wife, Amber J. Yates of Jacksonville; her twin sister, Christine Degeberg of Jacksonville; and one brother, Laurence Allen of Ankeny, Iowa; grandchildren, Taylor Weeks and Alisyn Yates; and one great grandson, Tyson Muirhead.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.

A reception will be held after the graveside service at the Infant of Prague Catholic Church, Parish Hall, by the Catholic Daughter's.
