JACKSONVILLE- Edwin (Ed) Yoshida, 88, died on January 3, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1932 in Honolulu, Oahu T.H.

A retired Master Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps, he is preceded in death by his father, Harry Yoshida; mother, Beatrice (Kimura) Yoshida; Wife, Geraldine (Geri) Yoshida; and son, Michael Yoshida.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Michelle) and her husband, Jeff, of Tustin, California.

A special thanks to his closest friend, Robert Gardner and his many friends in the Jacksonville/Onslow community. Another special thanks to the staff of Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, North Carolina, for their care and compassion.

Services will be held at a later date.
