Obituary

Holly Ridge- Eva Mae Brandon, 80, passed away Friday, February 19. 2021 at the Laurels of Pender.  She was born November 20, 1940 in Onslow County a daughter the late, Owen Earl and Florence Crews Jenkins, Sr.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday February 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Salem Baptist Church with Pastors Steve Allen and Gene Ennett, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at the Wiley Field Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home 207 Dyson Street, Holly Ridge, NC 28445.

Eva was a nurse’s aid and loved to care for people in their time of need.  She was the happiest when she was with her family and friends.

She is survived by son, William “Will” A. Brandon, Jr. (Kelley) of Holly Ridge; daughter, Melissa Brandon Brown (Sam) of Lacy, WA; granddaughter, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Smith (Greggory) and grandson, Connor; and great grandchildren, Joseph, Kiley, Paisley, and Sawyer.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, O.E. Jenkins, Jr. and Zeb Jenkins;  and sister, Gladys Landry.
