Obituary

SWANSBORO  -  Frances Bright Humphrey Price, 97, of Swansboro, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel.  Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Price was born December 9, 1924 in Onslow County to the late Basil J. and Dora Phillips Bright.  Her greatest joy was being around her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Zennie Humphrey and second husband, Gene W. Price; three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Morton of Swansboro; son, Kenneth Humphrey (Nancy) of Morehead City; step-daughter, Judy Collins of Swansboro; grandchildren, Kennail, George, Kevin, David, Travis, and Shanna; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday morning, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
