Obituary
Hubert- Gladys Anne Klug, 89, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born August 5, 1932 in Detroit, MI a daughter to the late Christopher and Patricia Weedon Newton.
The family will receive friends Friday evening for 6-7:30 at Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro.
Gladys was a homemaker and mother who loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by sons, Richard Klug (Tess) of AZ, Larry Klug (Carol) of Hubert, and Steven Klug (Sharron) of MI; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Gumbos of MI.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard “Dick” Klug; and a brother, Christopher Newton.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.org.
