Obituary
Sneads Ferry- Glenda Marie Norris Thomas, 50, passed away March 15, 2023 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born June 5, 1972 in Onslow County, NC.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, Mach 19, 2023 at 3:00pm at Sneads Ferry Pentecostal Holiness Church with Uncle John Norris and Rev. Gene Ennett officiating. Burial will follow at Yopp Cemetery in Sneads Ferry. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Glenda worked in sales at the New River Marina for many years and loved to spend time on and around the water.
She is survived by son, Clayton Parker of Sneads Ferry; fiancé, Jeff Frye of Sneads Ferry; stepson, Cody Parker of Sneads Ferry; mother and father, Judy and Charles Norris of Sneads Ferry; brother, Thump Norris of Sneads Ferry; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
