On Saturday, February 13, 2021, Hayden Joseph Mullins, beloved and loving son, grandson and brother, passed away at the very young age of 13.
Hayden was born in March 2, 2007 at the Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, NC to Kevin Mullins and Annie Battaglini.
Hayden had a passion for sports and was an athletic boy at a young age. He played multiple sports growing up but excelled in soccer. He also loved wrestling, was in the young marines and loved collecting knives. He was a very talented and smart boy who could do anything he put his mind to. Later on, his true passion turned to bull riding and the cowboy way of life. He would have, one day, been a professional and famous bull rider on the PBR. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met, making this world a better place throughout his short time on this earth. He was such a handsome, funny, sweet, caring and sensitive boy who was also a man’s man.
Hayden is survived by his father Kevin, his mother Annie, his step mother Aide, his sister Mia, his brother Maximus, his step sister Kaylen, and step brother Tristan; grandparents, Carol Reid, Frank and Angela Battaglini, and Jeffrey and Bernadette Mullins; Aunts and Uncles, Katie and Bradley Andrews, David and Brandy Earl, Jesse and Sheridee Earl, Frank Battaglini, and Greg and Stephanie Mullins; cousins, Madison, Aubrey, Jace, Jesse, Jason, Kennidee, Taylor, Kylee, Jacob, Markus and Isabella. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 19th, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC, located at 303 Chaney Avenue Jacksonville, NC 28540.
