Kathy lived a hard life but it was a good one. When she was married to John C. Kratochvila, they owned their own auto repair shop (J & R Auto Repair) in Greentree, PA. It was hard work but she managed to do all the paperwork as well as working on the vehicles. She could tune up a car with the best of them. They also owned Katy’s Pub where everyone could go to have a good time and a great Rookphilly sandwich. She loved to make silk flower arrangements and draw. As she got older, she would sit and color in the adult coloring books and make the pictures come alive. Her favorite flowers were lilacs and bells of Ireland and she loved eagles. She loved to put the pedal to the metal when she was able to drive and would brag about how fast she could get her car up to.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Mae (Bambi) Gallagher; her father, Leon Gallagher; her older brother, Roy Gallagher, her younger brother Mark Gallagher, her younger sister, Patty Gallagher, and her husband, John C. Kratochvila.
She is survived by her son, John Kratochvila, his wife, Elizabeth and their children, John (wife Amy) and daughter, Anna; her brother, Michael Gallagher, his children, Thomas, Molly, Candance, and Jacki; her nieces and nephews, Roy, Brett, Angle, Shawn, and many other great nieces and nephews, family and good friends.
