Obituary
SNEADS FERRY - Lendie Gayle Griffin Parker, 74 of Sneads Ferry, went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023, surrounded by her family she loved so dear. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Folkstone OFWB Church. Burial will follow at the Parker Family Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, prior to the service, on Monday at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Louise Griffin; and her daughter, Angela Parker Borroto.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Walter Ray Parker, Sr.; sons, Walter R. Parker Jr (Roslyn), Timothy Parker, and Julius R. Parker (Louise); seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones who meant so much to her.
The family will receive friends at the home, 427 Turkey Point Rd, Sneads Ferry, NC 28460.
