RHODESTOWN COMMUNITY - Olive Mae Jarman, 91, of the Rhodestown Community, Jacksonville died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Gum Branch Road, Jacksonville with Reverend Daniel Flynn officiating. Interment will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veteran Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Jarman was born May 28, 1929 in Jacksonville to the late Joseph Linster Heath and Clara Aman Heath and was also preceded in death by her husband, Haywood B. Jarman; son, David B. Jarman; and her brother, Linster Heath, Jr..
She is survived by her remaining children and their spouses, Kenneth D. Jarman (Wanda), Bonnie E. Jarman, Martha J. Humphrey (Tommy) and Brenda J. Williams (Steve), all of the Rhodestown Community and Randy T. Jarman (Pat) of Jacksonville; one brother, Cecil Heath of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Jason Humphrey (Kristal) of Jacksonville, Joseph (Joe) Williams (Tisha) of Richlands, James Williams (Nicole) of Gaithersburg, MD, Alston Jarman (Melissa) of Weddington, Courtney Funcke (Chris) of Rhodestown Community, Olivia Cheslock (Matt) of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren, Sarah Humphrey, Tucker Jarman, Lawson Funcke, Blakley Jarman, Wyatt Williams, Hunter Cheslock, Luke Cheslock and Arista Williams; daughter-in-law, Robin Pittman Jarman of Rhodestown Community; and sister-in-law, Helen H. Heath of Jacksonville.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, 303 Chaney Avenue, Jacksonville.
