Obituary
Patricia "Gail" Sheffield, 73, of Midway Park NC, passed away peacefully at Onslow Memorial Hospital on Thursday April 14, 2022, with family by her side. She was born November 2, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia, She was the daughter of the late James McWilliams and the late Geneva Pittman, both of Georgia.
There will be a private memorial for Gail, at a time yet to be determined.
Gail was preceded in death by her husband, retired GySgt, James Robert Sheffield, of Atlanta Georgia. They were married for 19 years at the time of his death. Gail never remarried.
She is survived by her brother, Raymond Pittman of Lithia Springs, Georgia; her children, Gina de Freitas of Jacksonville, NC; April Edmonds of Durham, NC; and Marc Sheffield of Swansboro, NC.
She was preceded in death by her older brother, Larry McWilliams, of Alabama.
She was a loving grandmother of 13 grand children and 5 great-grand children.
She was also a loving fur momma to her 2 cats, Pat and Summer.
