MIDWAY PARK – Paul Allen Brown: 63, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.  He was born September 21, 1956 in River Head, NY son of the late Hugh Allen and Elizabeth Spaulding Brown.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Paul served his country in the US Army.  After his service he became a Long Island Bay Man and then became a painter where he then learned painting was his “thing” and enjoyed making things beautiful with his own hands. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.  Paul was respected for being an honest man and a stand-up guy for those around him.  He was always eager to lend a hand and help anyone in need.  He was just a big kid at heart.  He loved his family and raised two beautiful daughters. He would sit with his youngest daughter, Vanessa and enjoy any movie or show just to spend time with her.  He loved Nascar and F1 racing even though his daughter would say it was way too loud. He enjoyed all of Vanessa’s culinary skills and would eagerly push her along to make more. He was truly an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many.  Paul rarely said Goodbye; instead he would say, “Take it Easy”. He enjoyed life and a few beers here and there, and his favorite saying was: “EIN MANN OHNE BAUCH IST EIN CRUPPEL”, meaning: “A man without a belly is a cripple”.  His remains will be held in his beer stein with that very quote per his wishes.  Take is Easy Dad, until we meet again!

He is survived by his wife: Monica Fike Brown of the home; daughters: Geanie Smith (Steven) of Creekside, PA and Vanessa Brown of the home.  Grandchildren: Scott, Brittany and Daniel Smith; Great Grandchildren: Landon, Owen, Carter and Malia Smith of PA and sisters: Marjorie Seip of TX and Patricia Frintzilas of NY.
