Jacksonville- Randy James Clark, Jr., 34, of Jacksonville, North Carolina died on July 14, 2021. He was born on May 16, 1987 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Randy was known for his huge heart and helping anyone in need. He had an infectious smile that could light up a room. His heart shined through everything he did. His struggles with addiction never defined him. He was open about those struggles and used his experience to help others still struggling with addiction.
He loved fishing, riding his mini bike, and was passionate about rescuing animals of all kinds. He was never without his coffee cup in one hand and a cigarette in the other. He loved his wife with his whole heart and they were inseparable. They could be found always playing a prank on one another. He loved his entire family and was always checking in with them.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Clark.
Randy is survived by his wife, Jamie Clark of the home; his fur-children, 15 dogs – Henry, Gunnar, Karma, Loki, Deuce, Mia, Skie, Thunder, Stormy, Zeus, Lexi, Dixie, Buddy, Gizzy, and Titan; 3 rats, cats, chickens, ducks, and pigs; brother-in-law, Joseph Kitts of Jacksonville, NC; sister-in-law, Brandi Nicholson of Jacksonville, NC; father, Randy Clark, Sr. and step-mother, Meredith Clark of Minnesota; Christine Leblanc; brothers, Joshua Clark and wife Jennifer of Texas, Jacob Clark and wife Michelle of North Carolina, Jeremiah Clark and wife Anne of Alaska; sister, Rachel Clark of Minnesota; grandmother, Eloise Clark of Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; best friends, Randy Sawlelle and Alberto.
A celebration of life will be held on August 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 122 Thompson Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
