JACKSONVILLE - Rickie Ray Brinson, 61, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in Wilmington with his wife by his side.

Services will be private.

Mr. Brinson was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Reno Brinson; and brother-in-law, Keith Parker.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Angela Parker Brinson; son, Richard (Samantha) Brinson of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Stephen McComas and Haley McComas; brothers, Cyrus (Judy) Brinson, Orman (Shirley) Brinson, and Johnny Brinson; sisters, Joe Rener Lanier, Magline (Homer) Lanier, Caroleen Heath, Ardene (Darrell) Parker, Patty (Linwood) Jenkins, and Pansey (Chris) Williams; mother-in-law, Viola Jarvis; brother-in-law, Randall Parker; and many loving nieces and nephews.
