Roland A. Rousseau, 65 of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday morning at his home. Roland was a career funeral director and embalmer who worked for funeral homes such as Newman in Colebrook NH and Main - Armstrong in Groveton, NH. In addition, he managed Mallory Funeral Home of Fair Haven, VT for many years. After he retired from the funeral industry, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and building model planes and cars as hobbies. One of his favorite hobbies was model trains, and he enjoyed setting up the tracks with his grandson Kale. He also loved the ocean and enjoyed walking on the beach.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roland and Anna Rousseau and a sister Sue Pasela. Mr. Rousseau is survived by his daughter Tonya Rousseau of the home; his special grandson, buddy, and “Little Man” Kale Rousseau of the home; daughters Tiffany Rousseau of Woburn, MA and Candice Rousseau of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; sister Annette Beauregard and husband Mark of PA; and many nieces and nephews.
