Obituary
Jacksonville – Evelyn Virginia Maready Campbell, 91, passed on April 30, 2022 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC.
A private memorial service will be held on a later date.
Virginia was a nurse for several years. She loved to garden, arts and crafts, music and dancing.
Virginia was preceded in death by Son, Willis Parker Jr.; Parents, Grover and Dulla Maready; sister, Tessie Evans; brother, Homer Maready; and son-in-law Clyde Rice.
Virginia is survived by Daughters, Vicki Rice of New Bern, Annette Parker-Butler and husband, Jimmy of Greenville, and BJ Parker and partner, Jean Walters of Jacksonville; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Virginia's family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
