Jacksonville, NC – Bobby Wayne Carlton, 76, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at his home. Graveside services with military honors will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Flynn officiating.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nobuko "Noby" Carlton; son, Donovan Carlton and his wife Megan of Cape Carteret; daughter, Dawn Edwards and her husband Virgil of Maysville, grandchildren, Mitchell, Chad, Aerial, Hana, Mio, Ayden and Harper.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. VFW Post 9133 will be hosting a Celebration of Life Ceremony following the Graveside services on Thursday.
