Christina Ann
Carter
February 14, 1970 – June 5, 2024
HUBERT - Christina Ann Carter, 54, of Hubert, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving service animals.
She was a Valentine's Day baby, born on February 14, 1970 to the late Ralph Dowling Jr and Candy Icenhower. She was from Wheeling, West Virginia. Christina and her Husband had moved to Hubert N.C to be closer to their daughter and granddaughter.
In life she worked as a minister of the Wiccan faith and Paparazzi Representative. She was known to be a loving and kind hearted woman. One of her favorite things to do was to walk on the beach and admire nature. Those around her knew she was a spit-fire. So much so that she drank all of her husband's 100-year-old sipping rum and washed it down with coke cola on their wedding night. She was and will always be the truest definition of a fiery Irish woman. She was also known to be a lover of animals, of all shapes and sizes. Even if she had to have her husband feed her spotted gecko his dinner time crickets. She especially had a special place in her heart for her adoring cat Beanie, and familiar Rowhan, her service dog.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Donald Carter, daughters, Tiffany Heilman, Christian McGregor, Sami Mihorn, Ashley Waggoner, Ravyn Nhyt, Amanda Carter; sons, Dustin Heilman, Damian Heilman, Adrian Benjamin, Keith Carter; siblings, Rick Cunningham, Paula Dowling, Scott Dowling, Frank Gordon, Leslie Scott, Lisa Taylor and Kathy Parker; grandchildren, Hunter Heilman, Tianna Heilman, Elena Heilman, Elizabeth Heilman, Sophie Griffian, Gavin Blake, Kannon Waggoner; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Christina has touched many people's hearts throughout her life. She will forever be missed and loved.
The family asks that if any donations would like to be made to help cover funeral expenses, donations can be made directly to the funeral home.
