HOLLY RIDGE - David "Julio" Ernest Grenier, 60, of Holly Ridge, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday at Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge Chapel with Rev. Dale Padgett officiating. A private burial service will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Grenier was born in Providence, Rhode Island on March 14, 1949 and was a son of Ernest and Claire Doyon Grenier. He served his country, honorably with the United States Air Force.
Mr. Grenier is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jewell Honeycutt Grenier of the home; one daughter, Kim Grant and her husband, Anthony of Sneads Ferry; two brothers, Steven Grenier of New York and Mark Grenier and his wife, Maureen of Kansas; one sister, Paula Kumer and her husband, ViJay of New York; his parents, Ernest and Claire Grenier of New York; two grandsons, Bradley Cranfill and his wife, Alise and Drew Craighead; one great-granddaughter, Cyndee Lynn; his four-legged friend, Dixie and his recently deceased friend, Midnight.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 until 6:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010, at 6:00 pm, at Jones Funeral Home, Holly Ridge, NC.

A private burial service will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
