JACKSONVILLE – Dennis Bryce Fisher, MGySgt, USMC, Ret., 76 passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018.

Mr. Fisher was born on August 22, 1942 in Altoona, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late John and Minnie Bell Gates. He is also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville with Pastor Chris Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, with Military Honors.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maria "Angie" Fisher of the home; three daughters, Sharlene Crone of Chapmansboro, TN, Christina Waite of Watertown, NY, Luisa Davis of Jacksonville, NC; two sons, Michael Fisher of Jacksonville, FL, Andrew Fisher of Jacksonville, NC; one brother, John Fisher, Jr. of Altoona, PA; one sister, Barbara Nichols of Conncinnati, OH; eight grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home Jacksonville.
