Francis Xavier Doyle, 79, of Batchelor Rd., died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at his residence.
A Graveside service was held, on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Chaplain Doyl McMurry officiated and Military Honors were rendered.
Francis was born in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of Walter and Ida Galbally Doyle. He served his country honorably with the United States Marine Corps and achieved the rank of Sergeant.
He is survived by four sons, Raymond Doyle of Burgaw, NC; Martin Doyle of White Plains, NY; James Doyle of New Rochelle, NY and Dennis Doyle of Massapequa, NY: three daughters, Crystal Doyle of Burgaw, NC; Deborah Scott of Massapequa, NY and Tracey Murphy of Amityville, NY: two brothers, Walter Doyle of Queens, NY and Robert Doyle of Massapequa, NY: one sister, Muriel Smith of East Meadow, NY and eight grandchildren.
