RICHLANDS - Gertie D. Davis, 92, of Richlands, died Sunday, February 03, 2013 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Bethany Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chris Jarman officiating. Burial will take place at Dunn Davis Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Marybell Davis; children, Jasper Davis and Barbara Jane Shroads.
She is survived by her daughters, Alma Davis Hobbs of Jacksonville, Doris Marshburn of Jacksonville, Mary Eunice Parker of Richlands, Esther Gee of Avon, Indiana, Dean Kratzer of Pilesgrove New Jersey; son, Ed Davis of Kinston, NC; sister, Mabel Pierce of Jacksonville; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Bethany Baptist Church Monday, February 4, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM.
