RICHLANDS  -  Howard David Cox, 64, of Richlands, died Monday, October 3, 2022 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Community Christian Church with Minister Daniel Davenport officiating.  Burial will follow at the Cox Family Cemetery.

Mr. Cox was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Rachel Cox; his father, Lewis Earl Cox; and a niece, Candace Holland Craft.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Howard Cox of Richlands; son, Josh Cox and his wife, Megan of Richlands; daughter, Natalie Cox of Raleigh; sister, Rosa Cox Craft and her husband, Stanley of Richlands; two grandchildren, Trinity Michelle Cox and Emily Marie Cox; and his nephew, John Grayson Craft and his wife, Haley and their children, Addie Kate, John Holland and Sadie Rose.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 - 8 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Richlands Chapel.
