Before Jossie passed, she made it known she wanted us all to share laughs and memories in celebration of her journey home with the Lord.
Jossie was known as a generous, kind-hearted and compassionate soul. She loved the simple things in life. Jossie was a homemaker and the heart of her home, devoting her life to family. As so many can attest to, Jossie was always someone who loved to help those in need.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jossie LaFay Hamby; father, David Hambey; and a sister, Brenda Hamby Beasley.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, David J. Nigh, Jr. of the home; daughter, Katelyn Murray (Dylan) of Gibsonville, NC; sons, Blake Nigh of St. Augustine, FL, Brandon Nigh, and Colton Nigh both of Swansboro; grandchildren, Easton and Braxton Murray; and her sister, Cynthia Johnson of Jacksonville, FL.
In her own words, "this is not goodbye, this is see you later".
