JACKSONVILLE  -  Retired US Army LtCol Judith Marie Carey, 81, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Services will be held privately at the family's request.

Miss Carey was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Carey and Margueritte Fennelly Carey.

She is survived by her sister, Pamela Labuda (Thomas) of Jacksonville; nephew, Christopher Labuda (Yasmine) of Cary, NC; niece, Mariann Ramsey (Ron) of Jacksonville; one grand-niece; three grand-nephews; and her dear friend, Joyce Novak of Watervliet, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ASPCA .
