JACKSONVILLE - Lena Hobbs Gilbert, 67, of Jacksonville, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Stump Sound Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Holly Ridge with Rev. Howard Slough officiating.

Mrs. Gilbert was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Holly Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Von Gilbert.

Survivors include four sons, John Gilbert of Texas; Joseph Anthony Gilbert of New Orleans, LA, Jimbo Gilbert of Jacksonville and Kenneth Ray Gilbert of Jacksonville; three daughters, Virginia Adele Wolfe of New Orleans, LA, Lena Gilbert of Jacksonville and Samantha Gilbert of Jacksonville; seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Parker of Holly Ridge and Mary Wright of Jacksonville; three brothers, Henry Hobbs of Sneads Ferry, Alton James Hobbs of Richlands and Earl Norwood Hobbs of Goodman, MO.
