Maysville - Luann Jane Pruitt Phipps, 53, passed on February 20, 2015 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill North Carolina. A funeral service is planned for 11:00AM Monday February 23rd, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville with the Rev. Danny Pruitt officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:30Am until 10:45 before the Funeral.
Luann is survived by her husband Daniel Phipps of Maysville, NC; her sisters, Barbara Ann Paul of Guyton Ga, Susan Ann Petracca of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Donna Lee Bourquin of Emerald Isle, NC; one brother William M. Pruitt, Jr. of Reddington Shore, Fl.
Luann was the loving wife of Dan her husband. She adored her father Mr. William Pruitt Sr. and late mother Geraldine Weight Pruitt. Luann loved her twin brother William and sisters, Barbara, Susan and Donna. Luann was a wonderful lifelong member of Ladies Aux., VFW post 9133 of Jacksonville, NC.
