Hubert- Michael Joseph Gallen, Jr., 79, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.  He was born February 2, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA to the late, Michael Joseph Gallen, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth Smith Gallen.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Michael served his country in the USMC and retired at the rank of Staff Sargent.  He was a member of St. Mildred Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by daughters, Kathy Green (Michael) of OH, Wendy Henderson of Hubert, and Kimberly Barnes of Hubert; son, Johnny Gallen (Jennifer) of Hubert; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and four great greatgrandchildren; half-brother, Joseph Clark and half-sister, Maureen Clark both of PA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Gallen; daughter, Judy Gillette; and a grandson, Dondre Gallen.
