Michael David Strickland, 55, of Emerald Isle, died on August 1, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City, NC.

A memorial service will be held 3:30PM Saturday at Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro with Pastor Edward Yancey officiating.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Eddleman and husband, Charles of Kernersville, NC; nephews and nieces, Jenifer Robins and husband, Mike; Mark Eddleman and wife, Shannon; Elizabeth Dillon and husband, Stacy; John Eddleman and wife, Carrie; Joe Eddleman; and beloved friend, Lynette Cox.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
