Pearl Walton Rawls, 81, of Maple Hill, passed away, on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, in Jacksonville. Reverend Arnold Padgett and Reverend David Vanderbilt will be officiating and burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Pearl was born in Onslow County and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Madeline Roberts Walton. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Curtis Rawls. She was a talented artist and a member of The Council for the Arts.
She is survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
