JACKSONVILLE -  Phyllis Barker Milam, 81, was born on December 3, 1939 in Eckman, WV to her parents John and Cessie Blevins Barker.  Phyllis passed away on January 15, 2021 at her residence in Onslow County.  A private graveside service is planned 11:00AM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville with Rev. Crandall Fountain officiating.

Phyllis, is survived by her husband Rufus Lee Milam; five daughters, Debbie Brinson and husband, Michael of Chinquapin, Pamela Dixon of Jacksonville, Judy Graham and husband, Scott of Timberlake, Glenda Milam and husband, Stanley Twiddy of Jacksonville, and Jennifer Milam of Swansboro; and "adopted" daughter, Jane Coltabaugh; one son, Michael Milam and wife, Electa of Richlands.  Eight grandchildren, Chrystal Brinson, Amanda Brinson Dempsey, Jonathan Dixon, Alex Milam, Jake Milam, Caleb Graham, Lily Graham and Emily Long; and 2 great-grandchildren, Moriah Dixon and Colton Dempsey.
