Roy Thomas "Tommy" Thornton, 66, of Jacksonville died at his home Sunday, Nov. 16 after a long illness. A memorial service will be Friday, Nov 21st at 2 pm at Jones Funeral Home Chapel .
He is survived by his two sons, Tommy Thornton of Wilmington, Travis Thornton of Jacksonville, a brother, Richard Thornton, three sisters, Betty Chase of Sneads Ferry, Brenda Cole of Beulaville, Cindy Woolridge of Jacksonville and one grandchildren.
