Jacksonville - Shirley K. Thompson, 71, born on September 30, 1943 and died on March 21, 2015 died at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington, NC. A funeral service is planned for 11:00AM on Thursday March 26, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Jody Yopp officiating.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Lewis "Doug" Thompson of Jacksonville, NC, three sisters; Christine Brown of Jacksonville, Mary King of Lyman, Fay Usher of Burgaw; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation is planned Wednesday March 25, 2015 from 5:00-7:00PM at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC.
