JACKSONVILLE  -  Thomas Jason Mir, 46, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC.  A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.

Mr. Mir was born on August 1, 1978 in Mineola, New York to the late Thomas Mir and Therese Erdody Mir. His 18-year tenure as IT Manager at Viatech Publishing Solutions showcased his dedication and expertise. His quick wit, intelligence, and versatility inspired others with his capacity to overcome any challenge and his unwavering compassion for those in his life. His impact on those around him remains profound.

Tommy's remarkable legacy lives on through his loving wife, Maria (affectionately known as Ria); brother, Ryan Mir; sister, Melissa Mir and her three children, Brianna, Aiden and Maddie Mir.
