William Keith Pierce, 54 of Hampstead, passed away on July 26, 2023 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2:00pm at Spring Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pierce Family Cemetery, 24241 HWY 50, Maple Hill, NC 28454.

Keith followed in his father's footsteps, learning the trade of flooring, which he ended up doing for most of his life. He was able to pass this trade on to his sons as well. He loved all of his kids and grandkids and was so proud of each of them.

He had a very special relationship with his brother Allen. The two of them were best friends for their entire lives.

Keith is preceded in death by his sister, Christie Adams.

Keith is survived by his daughters, Samantha Worrell (Jonathan) of Burgaw, Brittney Irrera of Wilmington, Salifaye Pierce of Tabor City, and Rochelle Pierce of Tabor City; his sons, Joseph Smith of Wilmington, William Donovan Pierce (Tracey) of Florida, William Pierce Jr of Tabor City, Hunter Pierce of North Carolina, and Nicholas Pierce of Tabor City; his parents, Archie William Pierce and Elma Blanton Pierce; his sister, Suzanne Szaikiewicz (Mike) of Leland; his brother, Allen Pierce of Hampstead; his sister, Darlene Adams of Lumberton; 7 grandchildren; his loving girlfriend of many years, Jackki Hollifield; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Spring Primitive Baptist Church on Monday, July 31, 2023.
